Hear from our partners!

Chickadeeds! Thank you for your vision, for your thoughtful parenting and community spirit, and for all that you share with this community and beyond. Here’s to partnering again in the future.
— Melissa Gates, Northeast Regional Manager | Surfrider Foundation
Thank you everyone who came out yesterday! We enjoyed such a joyful and productive afternoon. Your efforts made a visible and important impact at the seed nursery, and we were grateful to get to spend time with the Chickadeeds community. Wild Seed Project is now a part of the Cape Elizabeth community, and we’d love to see you all again soon!
— Nell Houde, Manager of Educational Programs | Wild Seed Project
TO the incredible chickadeeds crew, THANK YOU for supporting and extending the work of Preble Street! It was a joy to partner with you, start to finish - such joyful hard-workers, even despite the strawberry to red onion surprise! This experience has prompted us to work on developing more opportunities for family volunteering at Preble Street!”
— Alison Lovejoy, VP of Mission Advancement | Preble St
This morning, chickadeeds dropped off:
🧼100 cleaning kits
💅200 minute for mom kits
🧤Blankets and winter gear

How did they do it? They partnered with GoGo Refill to collect donations of clean, reusable bottles to use for cleaning kits. They rallied their community to attend a big kit-making event at Bissell Brothers where they collected winter gear and assembled kits together.

These kits are essential to what we do and are always needed. We can’t thank chickadeeds, GoGo Refill and everyone who contributed along the way enough!

This was a true community effort and we are blown away by result. It’s amazing what we can accomplish when we work as a community to make an impact.
